Purpose: To foster the learning and enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing in a fun and friendly atmosphere at a day class in Melbourne. Do you like to dance but don’t want to go out another night? Join us on Tuesday afternoons.
Short History Commenced in 1976 at Thomson Memorial Church (now Ormond Uniting Church). Originally it was a night class but changed to Tuesday afternoons in 2001 after a three year recess.
Activities Weekly classes and two Socials each year. Other functions include Film/Lunch Days and Dance Video Night. Each year we are called upon to give demonstrations to other organisations, Day Centres or Nursing Homes.
