Purpose: |
To foster the learning and enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing in a fun and friendly atmosphere at a day class in Melbourne. Do you like to dance but don’t want to go out another night? Join us on Tuesday afternoons. |
Short History |
Commenced in 1976 at Thomson Memorial Church (now Ormond Uniting Church). Originally it was a night class but changed to Tuesday afternoons in 2001 after a three year recess. |
Activities |
Weekly classes and two Socials each year.
Other functions include Film/Lunch Days
and Dance Video Night.
Each year we are called upon to give demonstrations to other organisations,
Day Centres or Nursing Homes. |
